Editorial policy
How stories are chosen, reported and corrected at Insight Dense. Last updated September 2026.
What we cover
We publish reporting and practical guides across six sections: health and fitness, business and tech, lifestyle, travel, home improvement and entertainment. We write about things readers can act on, and we say plainly when something is a matter of opinion rather than fact.
How stories are reported
Every story names its sources. Where a claim comes from a study, a public filing or a named expert, we link to it so readers can check for themselves. We do not publish anonymous claims about identifiable people or businesses without a second source.
Writers work from their own reporting, interviews and testing. Where a piece draws on personal experience, the writer says so in the first few paragraphs rather than presenting it as a general finding.
Corrections
We correct errors of fact as soon as we confirm them. A correction is added to the bottom of the affected article with the date and a short note describing what changed. We do not quietly edit a published claim and leave no trace.
Small fixes that do not change meaning — a typo, a broken link, a formatting problem — are made without a note.
To report an error, write to our contact page with the article title and what you believe is wrong. We reply to every correction request, including the ones we decline.
Updates to older stories
Guides that cover prices, products or regulations are reviewed periodically. When a story is substantially revised, the publication date is kept and an "Updated" date is added, so readers can see both when it first ran and when it was last checked.
Advertising and independence
The site carries display advertising. Advertisers have no input into what we cover, what we conclude or when a story runs, and no advance sight of editorial content. Ad slots are labelled "Advertisement" and are visually separated from articles.
If a story contains affiliate links, sponsored content or a product provided free for review, that is disclosed at the top of the story. Nothing is covered more favourably because of a commercial relationship.
Use of AI
Articles are written and edited by people. We may use software to assist with research, transcription or copy-editing, but no story is published as machine-generated text, and a named writer is accountable for every piece.
Reader contributions
Comments are moderated. We remove abuse, spam and anything that identifies a private individual without cause. Disagreeing with a story is not grounds for removal.
